The Delhi High Court has held that the recent coverage of the Toolkit case, involving climate activist Disha Ravi, definitely shows it was sensationalized reporting by the media.
According to Live Law legal website, a bench of Justice Pratibha Singh directed editorial heads of TV news channels to maintain decorum and ensure proper editorial control is so as not to hamper ongoing investigations.
The court also observed that the petitioner, Ravi, should not make attempts to malign the police, Live Law said.
