Times Network has announced the second edition of ‘Pickleball Now Grand Prix 2026’, a major pickleball tournament series aimed at promoting the growth of the sport in India.
The tournament will be organised across 13 cities and will give emerging players an opportunity to compete at a professional level.
According to a Times Network press release, the Grand Prix Tour will begin with the Mumbai edition on July 23, 2026, followed by events in cities including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Gurugram and Lucknow (Noida) between August and September.
The tournament will offer players Pickleball World Ranking points along with prizes worth up to Rs.50 lakh.
As part of its partnership with the Indian Pickleball League (IPBL), the tournament will act as a talent scouting platform for professional teams.
Winners of the Grand Prix will get an opportunity to enter the IPBL Player Auction, opening a pathway for amateur players to become professional athletes.
The defending champions Mumbai Smashers will also be present during the Mumbai leg, allowing participants to compete in front of franchise representatives and showcase their skills.
The Mumbai edition will feature multiple categories, including Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Gender Neutral Doubles and Men’s Singles across Advanced and Intermediate levels.
Registrations for the Pickleball Now Grand Prix Mumbai Edition are currently open. The initiative aims to build a stronger ecosystem for pickleball in India and create more opportunities for players to enter the professional circuit.
