The makers of ‘Operation Safed Sagar’ have unveiled the teaser of their upcoming Netflix series, giving audiences a first look at a story based on the Indian Air Force’s historic role during the 1999 Kargil War.

Featuring Mihir Ahuja, Abhay Verma, Siddharth, and Jimmy Shergill, the series tells the story of the air campaign that played a crucial role in India’s victory.

According to an ANI report, the teaser is packed with action as it shows fighter jets flying through the mountains, air strikes, and the dangerous missions carried out by Indian Air Force pilots.

The makers describe ‘Operation Safed Sagar’ as the story of the ‘world’s highest air war’, fought in the challenging high-altitude terrain of Kargil.

The teaser introduces Mihir Ahuja, Abhay Verma, and Taaruk Raina as young fighter pilots who are chosen for a high-risk mission.They are trained and guided by senior Air Force officers, played by Siddharth and Jimmy Shergill, as they prepare to defend the country during one of India’s toughest military operations.

Along with intense action, the teaser also highlights the friendship, courage, and sacrifices of the officers.Directed by Oni Sen, the series is inspired by Operation Safed Sagar, the codename for the Indian Air Force’s air campaign during the Kargil conflict.
