TVF’s rural drama ‘Gram Chikitsalay’ continues its strong run with the second season crossing 3.5 million views on Prime Video India, securing a place among the Top 10 most-watched OTT properties in India.
The achievement comes shortly after the release of Season 2, which premiered globally on June 23. Building on the popularity of its debut season, the series has once again struck a chord with audiences through its simple storytelling, relatable characters and authentic portrayal of rural India, Prime Video said in a press release.
The makers announced the milestone on social media, celebrating the show’s growing popularity across the country. In their post, they highlighted how the fictional village of Bhatkandi and its ‘Gram Chikitsalay’ have resonated with viewers nationwide, further strengthening the show’s position among the most-watched streaming titles in India.
Created by The Viral Fever (TVF) and directed by Rahul Pandey, ‘Gram Chikitsalay’ earned widespread appreciation with its first season for its grounded narrative, emotional depth and realistic depiction of life in a rural healthcare setting. The series quickly emerged as one of TVF’s most appreciated recent productions, winning praise for balancing humour, emotion and social relevance.
