Sony MAX has announced a special one-day programming event to mark 25 years of Aamir Khan productions. the celebration will take place on 28 June 2026, featuring a curated film festival showcasing some of the production house’s most iconic and impactful films. the lineup includes ‘Lagaan’, ‘Taare Zameen Par’, ‘Secret Superstar’, and ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. these films are known for their strong storytelling, emotional depth, and messages that have inspired audiences over the years.

Sony MAX will also premiere an exclusive brand film titled ‘Match Made in Heaven’, featuring Aamir Khan. the film highlights the collaboration between Aamir Khan’s passion for meaningful storytelling and Sony MAX’s commitment to delivering memorable cinematic experiences to viewers.

According to a Sony Max press release, the channel stated that this special programming reflects its long standing philosophy of ‘Deewana Bana De’, which focuses on building a strong emotional connection between cinema and audiences.
