JioSaavn, India’s leading audio streaming platform, has launched a new feature called ‘Music Profile’ to make music listening more personalized and engaging. the new feature allows users to explore and express their music taste through a unique identity called a ‘Music Persona’. based on their listening habits, users will receive fun badges such as Punjabi Murid, Bollywood Bhakt, Hip Hop Hustler, and Telugu Abhimani, among others.
‘Music Profile’ will track users streaming activity, including songs played, artists discovered, and playlists created. the platform will provide weekly and monthly insights showing favourite genres, moods, top songs, and artists.
According to JioSaavn , users can also set a music status, highlight favourite artists, and create a public profile with a unique username to share their music preferences. the feature is available across Android, iOS, and web platforms, and can be accessed through the library section on Android and the profile section on iOS.
A company spokesperson said the feature is designed to help users better understand their music habits and discover new content based on their taste and mood. JioSaavn, founded in 2007, has over 100 million monthly active users and offers a vast library of songs and podcasts in multiple languages.
