Streaming platform ZEE5 has announced its latest original series ‘Janaawar – The Beast Within’, set to premiere soon on the platform.

According to a PTI report, the series is produced by Aarambh Entertainment Pvt Ltd and directed by Shachindra Vats. The show brings actor Bhuvan Arora, best known for his role in the hit series ‘Farzi’, into the spotlight as the lead.

Described as a layered crime drama, ‘Janaawar’ unfolds in the rural town of Chhand, a place where deep-rooted social hierarchies clash with the harsh realities of modern-day crime and corruption. ZEE5 said the series promises a gritty narrative that delves into power struggles, lawlessness, and the darker side of human instincts.

The platform, which has consistently expanded its original content library across genres, is positioning ‘Janaawar’ as one of its most ambitious crime dramas to date. By bringing together compelling storytelling and strong performances, the makers aim to offer audiences an intense viewing experience set against the backdrop of rural India.
