ZEE5 has unveiled the premiere date for the highly-anticipated thriller drama ‘Kadak Singh’, featuring acclaimed actor Pankaj Tripathi in the lead role.
Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, the film will start streaming on December 8, announced the streaming platform. Alongside Tripathi, the movie stars Sanjana Sanghi and Parvathy Thiruvothu.
The narrative of ‘Kadak Singh’ revolves around AK Shrivastav, portrayed by Tripathi, who grapples with retrograde amnesia, unraveling a maze of conflicting memories from his past, PTI reported.
The announcement of the release date was made via ZEE5‘s official platform, teasing the film’s intriguing storyline. “Ek haadsa. 4 kahaaniyaan. 1 blurry truth. Will #KadakSingh be able to find his truth? Trailer Out Now! #KadakSinghOnZEE5,” stated the post.
Produced by Wiz Films, HT Content Studio and KVN, with co-producers Shyam Sunder and Indrani Mukherjee, ‘Kadak Singh’ was showcased yesterday at the ongoing International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in the ‘World Gala Premiere’ section. It marks the maiden production venture for Wiz Films.
Viraf Sarkari, director of Wiz Films, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, mentioning a 12-year journey in conceptualizing ‘Kadak Singh’. “It’s been a journey of hard work, dedication, and passion, beginning with a socially relevant film brought to life by a talented team of actors and technicians,” he commented.
Apart from Tripathi, the movie boasts a cast including Jaya Ahsan, Dilip Shankar, Paresh Pahuja and Varun Buddhadev, promising a gripping cinematic experience for audiences.
