ZEE5 KidZ has expanded its children’s content portfolio with the launch of its latest original IP, ‘Fab 5’, now streaming on the platform. The new series follows the success of ‘Chote Tara ka Bada Gadar’ and reflects the platform’s continued push to build a diverse and engaging content ecosystem for young audiences.
According to an official Zee release, ‘Fab 5’ is a fast-paced 3D animated series that blends action, adventure, and emotion. The story revolves around Anand, a young boy who gains the ability to merge with his magical toys and transform into a superhero known as Super Anand. Each toy contributes a distinct power—Mitthu’s logic, Mimi’s speed, Rikki’s strength, and Mayur’s magic — coming together to help him navigate challenges across an amusement park and a hidden mystical world.
The narrative focuses on themes such as courage, teamwork, and presence of mind, positioning the show as both entertaining and value-driven for children and families. Through its storytelling, the series aims to combine fantasy elements with relatable lessons rooted in everyday situations.
Chandan Khandelwal, Business Head at ZEE5 KidZ, said the platform is focused on building content that is engaging for children while also meaningful for families. He noted that ‘Fab 5’ brings together strong storytelling and universally relevant values such as resilience and critical thinking, while staying grounded in an Indian cultural context. He added that the platform is looking to invest in high-quality original IPs that can drive long-term engagement, alongside popular titles like ‘Bandbudh aur Budbak’.
As part of its outreach, ZEE5 KidZ also introduced the character of Super Anand to audiences through a live interaction during its association with the KidZ World event held at World Trade Centre Mumbai. The on-ground activation allowed young fans and families to engage directly with the new IP, extending its reach beyond the screen.
