ZEE5 Bangla is set to bring a festive offering for viewers with the streaming of ‘Bhanupriya Bhooter Hotel’ from April 15, 2026, coinciding with Poila Baisakh. The horror-comedy promises a mix of suspense and humour, set against the backdrop of a mysterious mountain hotel.
The film, directed by Aritra Mukherjee, revolves around an ordinary holiday retreat that slowly unravels into a space filled with unexplained events and hidden secrets. Blending eerie moments with light-hearted storytelling, the narrative explores how the supernatural can intersect with everyday life in unexpected ways.
Produced by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, and written by Zinia Sen, the film positions itself as a quirky addition to Bengali entertainment, combining elements of mystery, comedy, and drama.
The ensemble cast is led by Mimi Chakraborty as Nandini, alongside Soham Majumdar as Shaon, Bonny Sengupta as Aranya, and Swastika Dutta as Malini. The film also features notable names from the Bengali film industry, including Kanchan Mullick, Manasi Sinha, Anamika Saha, Joydeep Mukherjee, Anasua Majumdar, Subhrajit Dutta, and Ujan Chatterjee in key roles.
Commenting on the release, Rusa Banerjee, Business Head, Bangla ZEE5, said the platform continues to focus on bringing fresh and engaging stories across genres every month. She described Bhanupriya Bhooter Hotel as a special Poila Baisakh release that blends suspense, mystery, and humour, offering viewers a unique and entertaining experience.
The film’s music has been composed by Anupam Roy and Arnab Dutta, while cinematography is handled by Pratip Mukherjee. Editing is done by Subhajit Singha, with Mridul Baidya serving as Art Director and Amit Kumar Dutta as Sound Designer.
With its blend of supernatural intrigue and situational humour, the film is expected to add a refreshing flavour to ZEE5 Bangla’s content slate this festive season.
