Zee Telugu has unveiled its brand-new identity ‘Prematho Zee Telugu’. The campaign reinforces the channel’s deep-rooted ties with its audience through stories that honour belonging, resilience, and shared emotional truths.
Rooted in the sentiment ‘Mamathathone Maata Madhuram’ meaning “Words are sweeter with affection” the campaign is a poetic reminder that the strength of togetherness is what carries us through life’s milestones.
The brand film, launched as part of this campaign, paints a touching picture of how communities come together in times of need. At the heart of the narrative is the story of an army father who is called on duty just days before his daughter’s wedding. In his absence, it is not just the immediate family but the entire neighbourhood that steps in like their own managing every detail with care, love, and joy. The film is a tribute to how Telugu people show up for one another, and how a community becomes an extension of the family.
The campaign film is not just a visual spectacle but a cultural ode to the lived experiences of Telugu households. Shot in the picturesque setting of a West Godavari village, the visuals brim with native flavours — from the Thataku pandiram and Muggu patterns to the comforting sight of avakaya annam and boondi ladoos during the wedding celebrations. These rich cultural nuances build a narrative that feels both nostalgic and celebratory.
Adding more warmth to the film are some of Zee Telugu’s most beloved on-screen personalities Jagadhatri-Kedar, Arundati, Bhagamathi, Amarendra, Chamanthi-Prem, Adya-Sreenu, and Ramalakshmi-Shourya who play extended family members and neighbours, bringing life to the story with a natural camaraderie and emotional depth.
The soul of the campaign is elevated further by an original song, ‘Sandadi Sandadi’, composed exclusively for the film. Sung by well-known playback artists Revanth and Jayasree, the track captures the infectious energy of Telugu celebrations while resonating with themes of unity, joy, and togetherness.
Speaking about the campaign, Anuradha Gudur, Chief Content Officer of Zee Telugu, said, “’Prematho, Zee Telugu’ is a testament to our commitment to authentic storytelling. We meticulously crafted this brand film to bring alive the essence of Telugu culture, ensuring that every detail, from the landscapes to the rituals, reflects the lived experiences of our viewers. It’s a mirror to how Telugu people show up for each other, and a reaffirmation of Zee Telugu’s role as a trusted companion in their daily lives.”
The campaign premiered during the telecast of the 23rd Zee Cine Awards 2025, with all seven thematic brand films launching simultaneously across Zee’s network of television and digital platforms. Each of these films delivers a unique voice while staying rooted in the common theme of emotional bonding and cultural richness.
With ‘Prematho Zee Telugu’, the network moves beyond entertainment to become a reflection of every home, every voice, and every shared emotion. It’s a campaign that doesn’t just tell stories but becomes one lived, felt, and remembered.
