Zee Tamil is expanding its non-fiction slate with ‘Single Pasanga’, a fresh reality format designed to deliver a mix of entertainment, humour, and personal growth. The channel recently hosted an exclusive press meet in Chennai to unveil the concept and give audiences a first look at what’s in store.
According to a press release, ‘Single Pasanga’ will feature ten young bachelors, each paired with celebrity participants known as ‘Angels’. These pairs will take on weekly challenges aimed at testing their charm, confidence, and communication skills. While the Angels offer support and camaraderie, a panel of expert mentors will guide the bachelors through tasks that encourage them to break out of their comfort zones. The goal: to crown the most eligible bachelor after a journey of transformation.
The launch event, held at EVP Film City in Chennai, brought together the show’s judging panel: actor and judge Parthiban, actor and judge Alya Manasa and actor and judge Shruthika, apart from popular anchor Manimegalai. The team shared insights into the show’s structure and its fresh appeal for Tamil reality television audiences.
Parthiban described ‘Single Pasanga’ as “not just a show about love, but about self-discovery, transformation and confidence”, adding that it’s inspiring to watch the contestants push past their boundaries.
