Zee Tamil is set to mark the festive spirit of Ayudha Pooja and Vijaya Dasami with a vibrant line-up of special programming on October 1 and 2. With a mix of debates, blockbuster premieres, and entertaining festive specials, the channel promises audiences a back-to-back celebration from 8 am onwards on both days.

On October 1, Ayudha Pooja, celebrations begin with a special edition of the traditional debate show ‘Pattimandram’, hosted by the renowned Tamil orator and writer Kalaimaamani Suki Sivam. Eminent speakers including Visalatchi, Santhamani, Parveen Sulthana, Juliet, Anna Bharathi and Mega Varnam will deliberate on the theme ‘Bharathi’s Revolutionary Women, Do They Walk Among Us or Only in Poetry’. The debate will be followed by the telecast of the hit film ‘Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam’ (NEEK), featuring Pavish Narayan and Anika Surendran.

The day continues with Santhanam’s comedy-horror ‘DD Next Level’ at 11.30 am, and ‘Galatta Poojai’ at 2 pm, where viewers’ favourite Zee Tamil stars celebrate the festival with traditional games, hosted by Mirchi Vijay and Manimegalai. At 4.30 pm, audiences can catch the World Television Premiere of ‘Maargan’, a gripping thriller starring Vijay Antony as ADGP Dhruva, who investigates a series of mysterious murders in Chennai.

The festivities roll into Vijaya Dasami on October 2 with another fresh episode of ‘Pattimandram’. Hosted again by Suki Sivam, speakers Sundara Aavudaiyappan, Santhamani, Arul Parkash, RJ Sakti, Parveen Sulthana, and Saravanan will debate on the topic ‘Has Public Awareness Increased, or Not?’. This is followed by ‘Thiru.Manickam’ at 9.30 am, featuring Samuthirakani as a lottery shop owner caught between morality and family desires after discovering a winning ticket worth Rs.1.5 crore.

The line-up continues with Venkat Prabhu’s much-awaited action thriller ‘The Greatest of All Time (GOAT)’ at 11.30 am, starring Vijay in dual roles alongside Sneha, Prashanth, and Yogi Babu. Adding festive fun, Zee ‘Stars Sangamam’ will air at 2pm, with fiction show leads taking on compatibility tasks in a lively format anchored by Archana. Rounding off the evening, the World Television Premiere of ‘Housemate’s at 4.30 pm brings a light-hearted drama about love, marriage, and surprises, starring Darshan and Aarsha Baiju.
