Actors Will Poulter and Odessa Young have come on board Netflix’s upcoming series ‘Rabbit, Rabbit’, adding further weight to a cast led by Adam Driver. The hostage thriller is shaping up as one of the streamer’s high-profile scripted projects currently in development.
According to a PTI report, the series is created and showrun by Peter Craig, the acclaimed writer known for co-writing films such as ‘The Town’ (2010), ‘The Batman’ (2022) and ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ (2022). Craig’s involvement signals a gritty, character-driven narrative rooted in tension and moral complexity.
In ‘Rabbit, Rabbit’, Adam Driver plays an escaped convict who finds himself cornered by law enforcement at a remote truck stop. With no clear way out, his desperation escalates as he takes hostages in a bid to negotiate his freedom, setting the stage for a tightly wound, high-stakes drama.
While details about Poulter and Young’s characters remain under wraps, their casting adds significant depth to the ensemble. Poulter has earned critical recognition for his performances in projects such as ‘Midsommar’, ‘The Bear and Dopesick’, while Odessa Young is known for her work in ‘Shirley’, ‘Mothering Sunday’ and ‘The Staircase’. Both actors are regarded for choosing intense, performance-driven roles, making them strong fits for the psychological tone of the series.
Netflix has yet to announce a release timeline or additional casting details. However, with Adam Driver fronting the project and Peter Craig steering the creative vision, ‘Rabbit, Rabbit’ is expected to draw attention as a dark, suspenseful series exploring crime, fear and the human instinct to survive under pressure.
