ZeptoLab’s popular animated series ‘Om Nom Stories’ has been acquired by Warner Bros. Discovery for the Indian subcontinent, significantly expanding the franchise’s footprint across South Asia. The deal includes exclusive Pay TV broadcast rights and non-exclusive digital streaming rights, covering India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
Under the acquisition, all 26 seasons of ‘Om Nom Stories’ will be aired across Cartoon Network, POGO and Discovery Kids, while also being made available on discovery+. The series will form part of Warner Bros. Discovery’s kids’ programming slate in the region, spanning both television and digital platforms.
Welcoming the partnership, Manaf Hassan, Executive Producer at ZeptoLab, said the collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery marks an important milestone for the franchise. He noted that the broadcaster’s reach, legacy and focus on quality storytelling make it an ideal platform for Om Nom Stories, adding that the company expects the association to further strengthen demand for the series in the region.
Created and produced by ZeptoLab, Om Nom Stories features comedy-driven animated adventures built around expressive characters and a distinctive visual style. Designed for children and family audiences, the series has steadily built a loyal viewership across multiple international markets over the years.
