The much-anticipated teaser of Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ has finally been unveiled, giving audiences a sneak peek into the quirky rom-com directed by Shashank Khaitan.

The teaser opens with Varun’s character, Sunny Sanskari, dressed as ‘baahubali’ in a humorous sequence as he seeks validation from his friend Muntu, played by Abhinav Sharma. The clip then introduces the other key characters — Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf. While Sanya and Rohit appear to be a couple in love, Rohit’s character is revealed as a wealthy man, ANI reported.

The highlight of the teaser remains the playful chemistry between Varun and Janhvi, which instantly caught the attention of fans. Sharing the teaser on Friday, Dharma Productions captioned it: “Quick intro: Four people. Two heartbreakers. One wedding.”

Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Khaitan, the film is scheduled to release on October 2 this year. With a star-studded cast and Khaitan’s signature romantic-comedy storytelling, the film is expected to be a festive entertainer.

This marks Varun and Janhvi’s second collaboration after ‘Bawaal’, while it is Varun’s third outing with Khaitan following the successful ‘Dulhania’ series.
