Luv Films has released the trailer of its upcoming thriller-mystery ‘Vadh 2’, bringing back Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta in lead roles for a gripping new story. Written and directed by Jaspal Singh Sandhu, the film promises a layered narrative driven by emotional conflict and suspense, while keeping its central act deliberately shrouded in mystery.

According to a report from PTI, the trailer signals a tonal shift while retaining the philosophical depth that defined the first ‘Vadh’. Packed with tension and moral ambiguity, it highlights performances rooted in realism and gravitas, setting the stage for an intense cinematic experience. Alongside the lead pair, the film features Kumud Mishra and Shilpa Shukla, with new faces including Amitt K Singh, Akshay Dogra and Yogita Bihani adding fresh dimensions to the story.

Speaking about the film, writer and director Jaspal Singh Sandhu said that ‘Vadh 2’ has been conceived as a richer, more layered thriller-mystery built on well-defined characters. He noted that the storytelling has been pushed further this time, offering audiences a morally complex world where truth is constantly questioned, something the trailer only hints at.

Producer Luv Ranjan said the sequel carries forward the philosophy and emotional depth of the first film while presenting a completely new story. He added that the presence of senior actors such as Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta, joined by Kumud Mishra, reinforces the belief that powerful storytelling transcends age and convention.

Producer Ankur Garg highlighted the strong response ‘Vadh 2’ received at IFFI and the lasting emotional connection audiences have with the original film. He said this response reaffirms that viewers continue to seek meaningful, character-driven narratives, and that ‘Vadh 2’ builds on what resonated earlier while offering something fresh and impactful.
