Ultra Media and Entertainment Group has launched its latest OTT platform, Ultra Play, a service dedicated exclusively to streaming classic Hindi films. With the tagline ‘Har Pal Filmy,’ Ultra Play aims to provide a nostalgic journey that brings the charm of classic cinema to both new and old generations of viewers.
Amid growing interest in classic Bollywood films, Ultra Play is leading the wave by offering a curated collection of over 2,000 iconic movies. Spanning from the 1950s to the present, the platform features blockbusters, hidden gems, and cult classics from legendary filmmakers such as Guru Dutt, Raj Kapoor, Shakti Samanta, Subhash Ghai, and Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
Ultra Play’s launch is being supported by a vibrant new TV commercial (TVC) that captures the essence of the platform’s tagline, ‘Har Pal Filmy.’
The campaign is designed to evoke memories and emotions, reminding viewers of the iconic dialogues, memorable characters, and unforgettable moments that have defined Indian cinema for decades.
The TVC showcases a matchmaking setting where potential suitors and their families engage in witty dialogue inspired by Bollywood films like ‘Aradhana,’ ‘Lawaaris,’ ‘Half-Ticket,’ ‘Kaala Sona,’ ‘Awara,’ ‘Beti No. 1,’ and ‘3 Idiots.’
The campaign’s tagline, ‘Shaadi Main Zaroor Aana,’ plays on a popular movie title, reinforcing the brand’s narrative and emphasizing its proposition, ‘Ultra Play… Banayein Har Pal Filmy.’ This 360-degree campaign will be promoted across print, TV, outdoor advertising (OOH), and social media platforms, ensuring that Ultra Play resonates with a broad audience.
As the festive season unfolds, Ultra Play’s colorful and quirky ad campaign promises to infuse celebrations with a blend of nostalgia and entertainment, perfectly capturing the essence of the platform’s cinematic experience. Ultra Play aims to bridge the gap between the old and new, bringing classic Hindi cinema to a wider audience in a digital format.
