After earning critical acclaim in theatres, ‘Narivetta’, the searing Malayalam action-drama headlined by Tovino Thomas, is all set for its digital premiere on Sony LIV starting July 11. Directed by Anuraj Manohar, the film makes its OTT debut following a successful theatrical run earlier this year.

‘Narivetta’ is a poignant tale of duty, identity, and defiance, woven through the character of Varghese — a young, upright government officer whose moral compass is put to the test after being posted in Wayanad. The region, simmering with unrest, becomes the backdrop for a fierce protest led by Adivasi communities, demanding land rights long promised and continually denied by the State. What begins as a routine government assignment spirals into a life-altering confrontation with systemic injustice, forcing Varghese to question everything he stands for.

Produced by Tippu Shah and Shiyas Hassan under the India Cinema Company banner, Narivetta features a powerful supporting cast including Suraj Venjaramoodu, Cheran, Arya Salim, Priyamvada Krishnan, and Pranav Theophine. N M Badusha serves as the executive producer, while the intense and emotionally charged score is composed by Jakes Bejoy, known for his immersive background work in socially conscious cinema.
