Times Network’s Hindi news channel Times Now Navbharat has strengthened its editorial leadership team with the appointment of senior journalist and television anchor Rubika Liyaquat as Senior Executive Editor – TNNB and Vice President – Special Projects.
In her new role, Liyaquat will helm the channel’s flagship prime-time programme ‘News Ki Pathshala’ and lead strategic editorial and special content initiatives across the network. According to Times Now Navbharat, Liyaquat’s credibility, strong audience connect and journalistic experience make her a valuable addition to the channel’s leadership team. Beyond anchoring, she will contribute to shaping editorial strategy, strengthening audience engagement across the Hindi-speaking markets and developing innovative news formats for television and digital platforms.
As part of its ongoing programming evolution, Times Now Navbharat has also announced a refreshed version of ‘News Ki Pathshala’. The programme will continue its focus on explanatory journalism while introducing enhanced editorial depth, premium graphics, contemporary presentation styles and stronger integration with digital-first consumption habits.
The show, which airs Monday to Friday at 8.50 pm, aims to help viewers navigate complex issues through a conversational and explanatory news format while maintaining its strong connection with audiences across the Hindi heartland.
Welcoming Liyaquat to the network, Times Now Navbharat said her ability to shape national conversations and connect with viewers has established her as one of the most influential voices in Hindi television news. The network added that her experience will play an important role in the next phase of growth for the channel.
