Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) today reaffirmed its standout position in the Indian entertainment sector, with India accounting for approximately 10 percent of the company’s global profits and revenue.
This makes the country one of SPE’s most lucrative markets outside the United States, according to The Economic Times reported.
In an industry where many U.S.-based media giants have scaled back their focus, SPE continues to maintain a robust and influential presence in India’s media and entertainment landscape. The executive underscored that India remains a core growth driver in SPE’s international business strategy.
