Known for their unforgettable roles as ACP Pradyuman and Inspector Daya, the actors have now stepped into a new storytelling realm, blending nostalgia with fresh audio drama, IANS reported.
Shivaji Satam, beloved for his role as ACP Pradyuman, expressed excitement over this unique venture. “I’ve had the pleasure of portraying various characters throughout my career, but working on ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha’ To has been a distinct experience,” he shared. “Audio series is an excellent format for engaging audiences, and Pocket FM offers an array of intriguing content. This promo captures the essence of the story, and I’m delighted to collaborate with such an innovative platform.”
In ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To’ Anika returns to her hometown of Manali to search for her long-lost twin child, and Shivaji reprises a character inspired by his CID role, as the Chief of the Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB). Dayanand Shetty joins him once again as an inspector, and the two assist Anika, with whom they have a personal connection, in her quest. Reflecting on his role, Shetty shared, “Audio storytelling brings a new energy, letting listeners visualize the narrative. Working with Pocket FM has been a refreshing experience, highlighting the power of sound in storytelling.”

Shivaji Satam and Dayanand Shetty’s appearance brings back memories of CID, which ran for over two decades, from 1998 to 2018, on Sony Entertainment Television. Created by B.P. Singh, CID achieved legendary status with its memorable characters, setting records for its long run and milestone episodes, with its final broadcast in October 2018.
The CID duo’s collaboration with Pocket FM promises an exciting experience for fans, blending classic detective dynamics with the immersive nature of audio storytelling.
