Actor Saif Ali Khan is set to headline the upcoming Netflix feature film ‘Kartavya’, in which he will be seen portraying a police officer navigating the complex demands of law, duty, and personal conscience. The film is produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and directed by Pulkit, marking yet another collaboration between the production house and the streaming platform.
Set against a heartland backdrop, ‘Kartavya’ brings together a strong ensemble cast including Rasika Duggal, Sanjay Mishra, Saurabh Dwivedi, Zakir Hussain, and Manish Chaudhari. The narrative explores morally layered conflicts where professional responsibility collides with family, truth, and inner turmoil, positioning the film as a grounded yet intense drama rooted in contemporary realities.
Speaking about the project, Saif expressed his excitement, saying, “‘Kartavya’, which is really great, produced by Shah Rukh’s company Red Chillies Entertainment, is going to come out soon. It’s a lovely piece by director Pulkit, and I’m really happy that it’s also coming out on Netflix.” The actor’s comments underline his confidence in the film’s storytelling and its creative team.
Sharing their perspective, the ‘Kartavya’ team noted that the film marks the second collaboration between Red Chillies Entertainment, Netflix, and director Pulkit, following ‘Bhakshak’. They described the project as a continuation of their commitment to telling stories that push creative boundaries while remaining deeply resonant.
