Prime Video has launched a high-energy cricket anthem titled ‘Lalla Anthem – A Warning From Subedaar’, featuring Anil Kapoor and Harbhajan Singh, as part of the promotional campaign for its upcoming action-drama ‘Subedaar’. The track aims to capture the spirit of India’s cricket fervour while reinforcing the film’s themes of resilience, pride, and strength.
Also starring Radhikka Madan, the anthem features a special appearance by Harbhajan Singh alongside the fan group The Bharat Army and television personality Shefali Bagga. The song has been composed by Rohan – Vinayak, written by Rishi Upadhyay, and sung by Vishal Dadlani.
Built around the phrase “Indian cricket team se bhidoge, toh Lalla bhugtoge,” the anthem blends cinematic storytelling with stadium-like energy. It draws inspiration from the character Subedaar Arjun Maurya, played by Anil Kapoor, whose journey reflects discipline, honour, and moral conviction. The music video combines cricket enthusiasm with dramatic visuals, echoing the charged atmosphere of global cricket competitions.
Speaking about the track, Anil Kapoor said the anthem reflects the inner fire and resilience of his character, describing the filming experience as intense and energised by the passion of fans. Harbhajan Singh, who appears in the video, called the collaboration a memorable experience and praised the song’s powerful rhythm and its reflection of cricket’s spirit and fan energy.
The Bharat Army also highlighted the shared themes of unity and belief between cricket and the film, noting that the anthem celebrates collective pride and unwavering support for the team.
The film ‘Subedaar’ is directed by Suresh Triveni and produced by Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor, and Suresh Triveni. Written by Suresh Triveni and Prajwal Chandrashekar, the film also stars Saurabh Shukla, Aditya Rawal, Faisal Malik, and Mona Singh in key roles.
Produced by Opening Image Films in association with Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network, the action-drama will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on March 5 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu across India and more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
