Amazon Prime Video has officially unveiled its streaming lineup for June, and it’s shaping up to be a thrilling month for subscribers. From anticipated sequels and fresh originals to gripping sports documentaries and international dramas, Prime members have a lot to look forward to.
According to a recent press release from Amazon Prime Video, the month’s standout is ‘Deep Cover’, premiering on June 12. This fast-paced action comedy stars Bryce Dallas Howard as Kat, an improv instructor who gets a bizarre shot at fame when an undercover cop (played by Sean Bean) offers her a life-altering role. With help from her students—played by Orlando Bloom and Nick Mohammed—she’s tasked with infiltrating London’s gangland by pretending to be a criminal mastermind.
Amazon also highlights several highly awaited Amazon Originals this month. Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal reunite in T’he Accountant 2’, releasing June 5. The action thriller sees the brothers dive into a high-stakes mission after a close friend’s murder. On the documentary front, ‘American Thunder: NASCAR to Le Mans’, releasing June 12, chronicles NASCAR’s groundbreaking entry into Le Mans for the iconic race’s 100th anniversary.
One of the biggest global hits, ‘The Chosen’, returns with its fifth season titled ‘The Chosen: Last Supper’. Dropping June 15, this new installment follows Jesus (Jonathan Roumie) as he shares a final meal with his disciples amid increasing tensions with religious authorities. The season will be released in three parts over three weeks, building on the show’s growing international fanbase.
Adding a darker twist to the catalogue is ‘ROMCON: Who the F**k Is Jason Porter?’, a chilling two-part documentary premiering June 13. The story unravels the true-life deception faced by Toronto-based Heather Rovet, who uncovers the shocking truth about her seemingly perfect relationship with a man hiding a criminal past.
Young adult fiction fans can look forward to ‘We Were Liars’, streaming from June 18. Based on E. Lockhart’s best-selling novel, it’s a haunting story set on a private island where summer romance and a mysterious accident upend the life of teenager Cadence Sinclair Eastman, played by Emily Alyn Lind.
Meanwhile, international offerings like the Korean fantasy-romance ‘Head Over Heels’ (June 23), Spanish docu-thriller ‘Infiltrada en el búnker’ (June 27), and Japanese time-travel revenge drama ‘Marry My Husband’ (June 27) offer a vibrant mix of genres and global storytelling.
Prime Video also continues to push its live sports slate with NASCAR, WNBA, NWSL, ONE Championship, and Major League Baseball fixtures throughout June. The 2025 NFL Thursday Night Football season schedule has also been released, promising high-stakes games and two festive matchups in December.
Music lovers won’t be left out either—Prime Video and Amazon Music will live-stream the Primavera Sound music festival from June 5 to 8, featuring performances by Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, and Chappell Roan from Barcelona’s Parc del Fòrum.
The platform rounds out the month with a rich mix of classic films like ‘12 Angry Men’, ‘The Greatest Showman’, ‘Brokeback Mountain’, and ‘Moneyball’, alongside June premieres such as ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3’ (June 20), ‘Nosferatu’ (June 27), and fan-favorite Korean dramas landing on June 29.
