Prime Video has officially renewed the hit series ‘Reacher’ for a fourth season, following its remarkable success as the most viewed 2023 release on the platform. The eagerly anticipated third season is set to debut in 2025. In addition to this exciting news, Prime Video has also announced a series order for a ‘Reacher’ spinoff titled ‘The Untitled Neagley Project,’ featuring Maria Sten in a leading role.
Based on the seventh book, ‘Persuader’, from Lee Child’s globally acclaimed series, the third season will see Alan Ritchson reprise his role as the titular character, Jack Reacher. In this installment, Reacher goes undercover to rescue an informant captured by a formidable adversary from his past.
Maria Sten is expected to return for the third season, joined by a talented ensemble cast that includes Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Robert Montesinos, Daniel David Stewart, and Olivier Richters.
Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, expressed enthusiasm about the series, stating, “Reacher has become a phenomenon that continues to resonate with our global customers beyond our wildest expectations, and we are thrilled to bring the series back for an additional season. We are looking forward to more action and adventure from the immensely talented team behind the series, including Nick Santora, Alan Ritchson, Lee Child, Skydance, and CBS Studios.”
Produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and CBS Studios, ‘Reacher’ is written for television by Emmy-nominated writer Nick Santora, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer. Alongside Santora and Child, Ritchson is set to be an executive producer, along with Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell for Skydance. Carolyn Harris and Kenny Madrid are the executives overseeing the series for Skydance Television.
With its thrilling blend of action and suspense, ‘Reacher’ continues to captivate audiences worldwide, and fans eagerly anticipate both the new season and the upcoming spinoff.
