Prime Video has revealed that the highly anticipated original comedy series ‘The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh’ will premiere all eight half-hour episodes on October 17.
The show will be available exclusively on Prime Video in the US, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Austria, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Uruguay, Venezuela and India. It will also be available on Amazon Freevee in the US, the UK and Germany.
Inspired by the personal experiences of Emmy-nominated creator Vijal Patel ‘The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh’ follows the Pradeep family as they navigate their first months in America after moving from India. The narrative unfolds through humorous—and often conflicting—flashbacks from an interrogation room, showcasing the family’s interactions with a neighboring family that is their polar opposite. This leads to romantic, personal, and professional entanglements filled with unexpected twists.
The cast features Sahana Srinivasan (Bhanu Pradeep), Arjun Sriram (Kamal Pradeep), Ashwin Sakthivel (Vinod Pradeep) and Nicholas Hamilton (Stu Mills), alongside a talented ensemble including Andrews, Vee, Hilty, and Suplee. Special guest stars include Pete Holmes (‘Dark Suit’) and Romy Rosemont (‘Light Suit’).
The ‘Pradeeps of Pittsburgh’ is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios. Vijal Patel serves as the creator, writer, showrunner, and executive producer, collaborating with Emmy winner Sara Gilbert, Mandy Summers, Emmy winner Tom Werner, and Jordana Mollick as executive producers.
