Prime Video has announced the global streaming premiere of the highly anticipated biographical sports drama ‘Chandu Champion’, directed by Kabir Khan.
The film, produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Kabir Khan Films, is now available for streaming in India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
Chandu Champion features a powerful performance by Kartik Aaryan, who portrays Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympics gold medalist. The ensemble cast also includes Vijay Raaz, Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Aniruddh Dave, and Shreyas Talpade in key roles.
The film tells the extraordinary true story of Murlikant Petkar, a soldier in the 1965 Indo-Pak War who, after sustaining severe injuries, defied all odds to become a champion sportsman, winning India’s first Paralympic gold medal in 1972.
The film explores themes of perseverance, resilience, and the indomitable human spirit, making it an inspiring watch for audiences across the globe.
