After delivering its first blockbuster original ‘Ayyana Mane’, ZEE5 Kannada is gearing up for another gripping release with its new web series Shodha. Produced by KRG Studios, this original thriller marks a significant milestone — the acting debut of celebrated Kannada filmmaker Pawan Kumar.

Known for redefining Kannada cinema with his bold and inventive storytelling in films like ‘Manasaare’, ‘Pancharangi’, ‘Lifeu Ishtene’, and the cult hit ‘Lucia’, Pawan Kumar is now ready to engage audiences from the other side of the lens. In ‘Shodha’, he steps into the spotlight, this time not as the storyteller behind the scenes, but as the lead actor of a compelling narrative.

“Acting in ‘Shodha’ has been a completely new journey for me,” Pawan Kumar shared. “Coming from writing and directing, stepping in front of the camera challenged me to explore emotions in a new way. It was unfamiliar yet incredibly rewarding.”
