NODWIN Gaming has entered into a strategic partnership with Runestone to strengthen tournament integrity and enhance data-driven engagement across global esports competitions, marking a significant step in the evolution of competitive gaming infrastructure.
According to a NODWIN Gaming press release, the collaboration brings together the gaming company’s experience in building esports IPs with Runestone’s expertise in real-time data and integrity solutions. The partnership was launched with the NODWIN Clutch Series, highlighting the growing importance of structured Tier 2 tournaments in nurturing emerging talent and supporting the broader competitive ecosystem.
As esports continues to scale globally, organisers are increasingly relying on advanced tools to ensure fair play while improving viewer engagement. Real-time data analytics and integrity monitoring are now becoming central to tournament operations, enabling better oversight and more immersive broadcast experiences for audiences.
The NODWIN Clutch Series has already established itself as a key platform within the Tier 2 competitive circuit. The latest edition saw BIG defeat ECSTATIC 2-1 in the grand final of the $50,000 online tournament, reinforcing its position as a proving ground for teams operating just below the top tier of Counter-Strike 2 competition.
Teemu Koski, Chief Business Officer at NODWIN Gaming MENA and Global Head of Data Monetization, said in a statement that the collaboration aligns with the company’s focus on expanding its competitive gaming footprint across high-growth regions. He emphasised that integrity and transparency are critical, particularly in Tier 2 ecosystems where future talent is shaped, adding that Runestone’s infrastructure complements NODWIN’s scalable approach to esports.
Michael Schwartz, Head of Partnerships at Runestone, noted that the partnership reflects a shared vision of building sustainable competitive ecosystems. He added that combining operational expertise with advanced data tools will help deliver greater transparency, improved fan interaction, and scalable solutions for tournament organisers and publishers.
