In a recent announcement, streaming giant Netflix revealed its extensive lineup of series and films scheduled for release in 2024. Among the highlights, the much-anticipated second season of ‘Squid Game’ is set to make a return, alongside popular shows like ‘Bridgerton,’ ‘Emily in Paris,’ and ‘The Diplomat.’
New additions to the streaming platform include the highly awaited ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender,’ premiering on February 22, Guy Ritchie’s ‘The Gentlemen’ in March, ‘3 Body Problem’ on March 21, and ‘Ripley,’ starring Andrew Scott, on April 4, PTI reported from Los Angeles.
Netflix’s returning series roster boasts favorites such as ‘Full Swing,’ ‘Cobra Kai,’ ‘Arcane,’ ‘Sweet Tooth,’ ‘The Empress,’ and ‘Outer Banks.’
The movie lineup for 2024 features star-studded titles, including Adam Sandler in ‘Spaceman,’ Jennifer Lopez in ‘Atlas,’ Nicole Kidman in ‘A Family Affair,’ Samuel L Jackson in ‘The Piano Lesson,’ Millie Bobby Brown in ‘Damsel,’ and Taron Egerton in ‘Carry On.’
Filmmaker Richard Linklater’s ‘Hit Man,’ starring Glen Powell, and Zack Snyder’s ‘Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver,’ the sequel to 2023’s ‘Rebel Moon,’ are among the highly anticipated releases for the year.
Netflix has also confirmed the release of ‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F’ on July 3, featuring Eddie Murphy, while Jerry Seinfeld’s directorial debut, ‘Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story,’ is scheduled for May 3. Mark Wahlberg’s ‘The Union’ is set to premiere on August 16, rounding out a diverse and star-studded content lineup for the streaming platform in 2024.
