Netflix is gearing up to unveil its documentary, ‘The Indrani Mukerjea Story: Buried Truth,’ on February 23, shedding light on the infamous Sheena Bora case.
In collaboration with MakeMake and India Today Group, the docu-series delves into the layers of the sensational murder of Sheena Bora and the subsequent arrest of her sister, media executive Indrani Mukerjea, and media tycoon Peter Mukerjea in 2015, PTI reported from Mumbai.
Featuring interviews with Indrani Mukerjea, and her children Vidhie Mukherjea and Mikhail Bora, alongside insights from veteran journalists and lawyers, the documentary promises to unravel the complexities of dysfunctional family dynamics and motivations that surround the case.
Directed by Shaana Levy and Uraaz Bahl, produced by Terry Leonard, and featuring Ranjeet Sangle and journalist Rajdeep Sardesai, ‘The Indrani Mukerjea Story: Buried Truth’ is set to offer viewers a gripping narrative on one of India’s most high-profile criminal cases.
The release comes as part of Netflix‘s continued exploration of true crime stories, providing audiences with an in-depth look at the intricacies of real-life legal dramas.
