NDTV Good Times is bringing back its popular bridal makeover show ‘Band Baajaa Bride’ for its 10th season. The new season will feature eight brides from across India, with fashion designers Rimple & Harpreet leading their bridal transformations. Kalyan Jewellers has joined the show as its jewellery partner.
According to a press release issued by NDTV, the upcoming season will focus on the love stories, aspirations and personal journeys of eight selected brides.
Each bride will receive a personalised makeover that will bring her wedding vision to life.
The ninth season of the show featured renowned bridal designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
Over the years, ‘Band Baajaa Bride’ has connected with viewers through the personal stories of brides and their wedding transformations.
For Season 10, Rimple & Harpreet will design the bridal outfits. The designers are known for their work on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films and shows, including ‘Padmaavat’ and ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’.
They are also associated with the film ‘Ramayana’ too and their designs draw inspiration from India’s textile heritage, detailed craftsmanship and royal-inspired styles.
The brides’ ideas, personal references and vision boards will help shape their outfits, ensuring that each look reflects their individuality and the designers’ signature style.
Rahul Kanwal, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of NDTV, said the show continues to have a special connection with viewers because of the personal stories of the brides.
He added that the 10th season will give a new generation of brides an opportunity to share their journeys and experience a bridal transformation.
Rahul Shaw, Chief Business Officer at NDTV, said the show’s return will create opportunities for brands in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle categories to become part of the bridal transformation journey.
