After an eight-year-long journey leading global syndication and marketing at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL), Manjyot Sandhu has officially announced his departure from the company. The seasoned media executive, who was based out of Dubai, shared the news on LinkedIn over the weekend.
In his farewell note, Sandhu looked back at his tenure with gratitude, noting, “I had the opportunity of growing Zee’s content licensing business to over 75 countries, in more than 15 languages across multiple platforms. This wouldn’t have been possible without my team. Thank you for believing in me and staying committed to what we set out to achieve.”
His message reflected not just professional milestones but also personal connections made along the way. “What started out as a professional mission became a personal one along the way—building long-lasting partnerships and friendships with amazing people around the world. To everyone who trusted my vision, shared in this growth, and helped elevate the Zee brand across continents—thank you,” he added.
Sandhu also revealed that his next move would be toward entrepreneurship, teasing that a formal announcement would follow soon. While details of his new venture remain under wraps, his sign-off suggests a continued presence in the global media and entertainment space. “So watch this space,” he concluded, hinting at what could be a bold new chapter.
