Actor Khusshal Maggo is set to feature in the upcoming Sony LIV original series ‘Real Kashmir Football Club’, which premieres on December 9.
The actor, who originally pursued Chartered Accountancy before transitioning to a full-time career in acting, plays a pivotal role in the sports drama inspired by real-life events.
The trailer, recently unveiled by the makers, offers a compelling look at a story rooted in grit, passion and the unyielding spirit of Kashmir. Set against the region’s breathtaking yet challenging landscape, ‘Real Kashmir Football Club’ chronicles the extraordinary journey of two visionaries who set out to build Kashmir’s first professional football club.
The series highlights the struggles and triumphs of young local rookies as they battle formidable opponents and navigate the pressures of competitive league football. Themes of unity, perseverance and hope form the emotional core of the narrative, showcasing how sport can inspire transformation even in the most difficult circumstances.
