JioStar has secured 15 brands across eight categories for the upcoming West Indies tour of India 2026, as international cricket returns to the country during the festive season. The sponsorship line-up spans sectors including artificial intelligence, BFSI, paints, consumer electronics, travel, wellness and automotive, with brands coming on board across television and digital.
According to a press release, JioStar said the West Indies series will mark the beginning of India’s bilateral international cricket season and its extended festive-season cricket calendar. The broadcaster has brought together brands through Co-Presenting and Associate Live partnerships, giving advertisers an opportunity to maintain visibility across the series.
The line-up for the three ODIs and five T20Is includes Havells, OpenAI, Google Search, Berger Paints, Herbalife, PhonePe and Ultravolt as Co-Presenting partners. Asian Paints, Tata Capital, Tata AIG, Britannia, TVS, Vimal Pan Masala, ExxonMobil and Airbnb have joined as Associate partners.
According to JioStar, the diverse roster reflects the continued interest of brands in bilateral cricket, particularly during the festive period when consumer attention and spending typically increase. The extended cricket calendar also allows advertisers to maintain a consistent presence across multiple matches rather than relying on a single sporting property.
Anup Govindan, Head – Sports Sales, JioStar, said the West Indies tour marks the start of sustained international cricket on the platform at an important period for advertisers. He said the participation of brands across multiple categories highlights the ability of live cricket to bring audiences together at scale while creating opportunities for targeted and contextual engagement.
The West Indies series is also the first property in JioStar’s six-month festive-season cricket calendar, which will feature four touring sides. Following the West Indies, the calendar includes series involving Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Australia, across ODIs, T20Is and Test matches.
For advertisers, the longer cricket calendar provides an opportunity to build a continued presence across different series and formats. JioStar is positioning the schedule as a platform for brands looking to maintain audience engagement and visibility throughout the festive season.
The West Indies tour of India 2026 will begin on September 27 in Thiruvananthapuram, with the three-match ODI series, followed by the five-match T20I series starting October 6.
