According to a PTI report, the 43-minute film, originally completed in 2000, has been released on the YouTube channel of The Salt Inc as a tribute to the late actor on his sixth death anniversary on April 29. The release offers viewers a rare glimpse of Irrfan Khan’s early work, long before he became one of India’s most celebrated and versatile performers.
Written and directed by Sarthak Dasgupta, the film also features Vidya Balan, who at the time was known for her role in the popular television show ‘Hum Paanch’. The project remained unreleased for years, making its digital premiere a significant moment for fans and cinema enthusiasts alike.
