India’s top EA SPORTS FC player, Charanjot Singh, has secured a direct invitation to the EA SPORTS FC event at the Esports Nations Cup (ENC) 2026.

The 23 year old earned his place through the FC Pro World Rankings after finishing as India’s highest-ranked eligible player.

According to an Esports Foundation press release today, the inaugural Esports Nations Cup will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 2 to 29, while the EA SPORTS FC tournament will take place from November 17 to 22. The competition will feature 128 players battling for a prize pool of USD 600,000 around INR 5.7 crore.

According to the Esports Foundation , 64 players received direct invitations through the FC Pro World Rankings, with one player selected from each eligible country or territory.

Another 56 players will qualify through regional online qualifiers between July 29 and August 9, while the remaining eight spots will be filled through wildcard invitations.

Charanjot has represented India at several major international events, including the Hangzhou Asian Games, FIFAe Nations Cup and the FC Pro World Championship.

He has also won multiple domestic titles, including the eISL Season 3 championship. His consistent performances over the past season helped him become India’s highest-ranked EA SPORTS FC player and earn direct qualification for ENC 2026.

Speaking on his qualification, Charanjot said he is excited to compete against the world’s best players at the Esports Nations Cup and is focused on delivering his best performance on one of esports’ biggest stages.

The online qualifiers will be conducted through the FC Pro Live Events mode and the Battlefy platform. Since each country can have a maximum of two players in the tournament, one more Indian player can still qualify through the South Asia regional qualifiers.

With Charanjot’s qualification, India has now confirmed participation in seven titles at ENC 2026 Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), Chess, EA SPORTS FC, Honor of Kings, Rocket League, Trackmania and VALORANT.

India received special invitations in BGMI and Honor of Kings. India’s Rocket League team, VALORANT team and Trackmania player Kunal Upreti (Spark) also qualified through their respective regional eve

Meanwhile, India’s MOBA Legends: 5v5 team, announced earlier by NODWIN Gaming as the country’s National Team Partner for ENC 2026, is still in contention for a direct invitation. If needed, the team will compete in the regional qualifiers on August 15 and 16.
