NODWIN Gaming has announced HEXVORA as the winners of the inaugural ‘BGMI: NAYE KHILADI’ tournament, with the team claiming the championship title and a cash prize of Rs.3.5 lakh.

According to a NODWIN Gaming press release from New Delhi today ,the grassroots Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) tournament, organised in association with KRAFTON India Esports, attracted more than 8,000 registered players from across the country. The competition was launched to identify and support emerging esports talent in India.

HEXVORA secured the title after finishing at the top of the overall leaderboard with 183 points in the 18-match Grand Finals, held from July 24 to 26. Zero Ark Official finished second with 142 points, followed closely by Team Free Agents with 141 points, while X4RCE claimed fourth place with 137 points.

With their top-four finishes, HEXVORA, Zero Ark Official, Team Free Agents and X4RCE have all qualified for the TVS Wicked Battles Grand Finals, the official Road to BGMS 2026. HEXVORA received Rs.3.5 lakh as the winner’s prize, while runners-up Zero Ark Official were awarded Rs.1.8 lakh.

Team Free Agents took home Rs1 lakh for finishing third, and X4RCE received Rs.60,000 for securing fourth place. Hardik Khanna, also known as HxHeXe1907 from HEXVORA, was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) and received a cash prize of Rs.10,000.

The tournament began with more than 8,000 registered competitors through BGMI’s in-game qualification system. The field was then narrowed to 1,024 teams in the first round, followed by 256 teams, 32 semifinalists and finally the top 16 teams, who competed across 18 matches over three days to decide the inaugural champions.

Commenting on the tournament, Gautam Virk, Co-Founder and CEO of NODWIN Gaming, said the event was created to provide aspiring players with a pathway into India’s competitive esports ecosystem. He added that the performances of the participating teams highlighted the growing depth of grassroots esports talent in the country.

Karan Pathak, Associate Director Esports at KRAFTON India, congratulated HEXVORA on winning the inaugural title and said the tournament had provided an important platform for discovering and nurturing emerging BGMI talent.

HEXVORA captain Ujjwal Kushwah described the victory as a proud moment for the team, saying that qualifying for the TVS Wicked Battles Grand Finals made the achievement even more meaningful and marked an important step in their esports journey.
