Havas India has announced the launch of its global business and digital transformation consultancy, Gate One, in the country. The expansion is aimed at strengthening Havas India’s ability to deliver expertise in customer experience, marketing transformation, digital, data, and AI strategy to its clients.
The development was shared in a LinkedIn update by the company, highlighting the significance of Gate One’s entry into India. The new practice will be led by Karan Ingle, Client Director – India, Gate One, who will be based out of Bengaluru. He will be responsible for scaling operations, building strong client relationships, and driving innovation in the region. Ingle will report to Ben Tye, Managing Partner, Gate One, and Rana Barua, Group CEO, Havas India, South East Asia and North Asia.
Headquartered in London, Gate One has established itself in the UK, Ireland, and the United States. With India becoming the fourth market for the consultancy, Havas noted that its global growth journey is also extending to France. In India, Gate One will be housed under the Havas Creative Network at the Bengaluru Village, marking the sixth global agency launch in the country and underlining India’s growing importance in Havas’ international ecosystem.
Ben Tye described the India launch as a “significant milestone” in Gate One’s global expansion, citing the country’s dynamic innovation and talent pool. He expressed confidence in Ingle’s leadership to help Gate One India thrive and deliver meaningful transformation for clients.
Echoing this, Rana Barua said the launch demonstrates Havas’ commitment to bringing integrated, strategy-led services to India. “As digital and customer-focused transformation becomes mission-critical for businesses, Gate One’s consultancy strength combined with Havas’ creative prowess will set a new benchmark,” Barua remarked.
Expressing his excitement, Ingle said, “This launch represents a powerful convergence of local insight and global transformation expertise, empowering brands to reimagine their customer experience and enterprise operations for the digital age. I am confident we’ll be able to help Indian businesses deliver meaningful change with measurable impact.”
Globally, Gate One has carved its niche by working with C-suite leaders and senior executives across S&P 500 firms, private enterprises, and government departments. Its core capabilities span AI, digital and data strategy, marketing transformation, sustainability, operational performance, M&A, and leadership-driven change—helping organisations deliver structured programmes that combine scale, innovation, and measurable outcomes.
