Cricketer Hardik Pandya has announced a significant venture into the merchandising world by partnering with FanCode Shop, the online merchandise platform owned by Dream Sports. This exclusive licensing agreement will see the launch of Pandya’s own performance wear brand.
Under the terms of the deal, FanCode Shop will handle the design, manufacturing, and marketing of the new product line. The collaboration features a revenue-sharing model between Pandya and FanCode Shop.
The initial collection will include a range of apparel such as t-shirts, vests, polos, shorts, and jackets, with prices spanning from ₹999 to ₹2,299. This move marks Pandya’s foray into licensing, expanding his involvement beyond endorsement deals.
Nikhil Bardia from Rise Worldwide highlighted that Pandya’s entry into licensing is a notable shift, given his current role in endorsing 20 brands with endorsement fees ranging from ₹2-3 crore per deal.
