Former Network18 Group CEO Avinash Kaul’s debut book, ‘The Next Mountain: Notes on Resilience, Leadership and Purpose’, has become an Amazon bestseller, marking a significant milestone for the media veteran turned author.
Kaul shared the news in a LinkedIn today’s post, calling it an emotional moment and thanking readers for their overwhelming support.
He said the response to the book had been deeply humbling and expressed gratitude to everyone who believed in his story and helped it reach readers.
Co-authored with bestselling author Priya Kumar and published by HarperCollins India, ‘The Next Mountain’ is based on Kaul’s personal and professional journey.
The book explores themes of resilience, leadership and purpose, while sharing lessons from his life from leaving Kashmir as a teenager in 1990 to building a successful career in the Indian media industry.
Kaul served with Network18 for nearly 12 years and was among the company’s top leaders before stepping down earlier this year. Since then, he has been sharing reflections from his life and career through LinkedIn, many of which inspired the stories and lessons featured in the book.
The book’s early success on Amazon marks a new chapter in Kaul’s journey. From leading one of India’s largest media networks to becoming a bestselling author, ‘The Next Mountain’ has struck a chord with readers looking for stories of resilience, leadership and personal growth.
