From ‘Emily in Paris 6’ to ‘Bridgerton 4’, Netflix teases its big 2026 lineup

Streaming major Netflix has kicked off the New Year by offering viewers a first glimpse into its much-anticipated 2026 content slate, lining up the return of several global favourites alongside fresh chapters in blockbuster franchises. The platform’s latest reveal has already sparked excitement among fans eager to see how their favourite stories evolve next year.

According to an IANS report, Netflix has confirmed that 2026 will see new seasons of some of its most-watched series, spanning romance, fantasy, adventure and period drama. Leading the lineup is season six of ‘Emily in Paris’, which continues the journey of Emily, a young marketing executive from Chicago whose unexpected career move transforms her personal and professional life through a series of vibrant adventures and cultural clashes.

Another major highlight is ‘Bridgerton’ season four, which is set to premiere in two parts, beginning January 29, followed by part two on February 26. This season shifts focus to Benedict Bridgerton, the free-spirited second son, played by Luke Thompson. Unwilling to settle down, Benedict’s life takes a turn when he encounters a mysterious Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball, setting the stage for a new romantic arc in the regency-era saga.

Fans of epic adventures can also look forward to ‘One Piece: Into The Grand Line’ season two, arriving in March. The new season follows Luffy and the Straw Hat crew as they venture into the perilous and unpredictable Grand Line, encountering strange islands, powerful foes and new challenges in their quest for the world’s greatest treasure.

Meanwhile, ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ season two will pick up after the heroes’ hard-fought victory in the Northern Water Tribe. Avatar Aang, along with Katara and Sokka, embarks on a critical mission to persuade the Earth King to join their fight against Fire Lord Ozai, raising the stakes in their battle to restore balance.

The slate also includes ‘Enola Holmes’ season three, which takes the young detective to Malta for a case more dangerous and complex than ever before, and ‘Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man’, set to stream from March 20. The British crime drama revisits Tommy Shelby, who is forced out of self-imposed exile to confront his most destructive reckoning yet.

With this diverse lineup, Netflix is signalling a strong 2026, banking on beloved franchises and expansive storytelling to keep global audiences firmly hooked.
