Ragini Babbar has joined Republic World as General Manager – TV Ad Sales for its Hindi news channel R Bharat, strengthening the network’s leadership in the advertising and revenue vertical.
The development was shared through a LinkedIn profile update, indicating Babbar’s transition from TV Today Network, where she served as Assistant General Manager. Her move comes at a time when news networks are sharpening their ad sales strategies amid evolving audience consumption patterns.
With over 18 years of experience, Babbar brings a strong background in media sales, business development, media planning and key account management. Her career spans multiple sectors, including FMCG, consumer durables, education, events and automotive, where she has worked on delivering integrated brand solutions and marketing initiatives.
In her new role at Republic World, she is expected to focus on driving advertising revenues for R Bharat, strengthening client relationships and expanding the channel’s footprint among advertisers. Her experience across diverse industries is likely to play a key role in building cross-sector partnerships and unlocking new business opportunities.
