Priyanka Chopra Jonas is set to return to the global spotlight with her upcoming Hollywood film ‘The Bluff’, which will premiere on Prime Video on February 25. The streaming service announced the release date on Thursday, adding to anticipation around the actor’s latest international project.
According to a PTI report, ‘The Bluff’ is directed by filmmaker Frank E. Flowers and also stars Karl Urban, best known for his role in the series ‘The Boys‘. The film is set against the historical and cultural backdrop of the Cayman Islands and blends action with personal drama.
In the film, Chopra Jonas plays Ercell ‘Bloody Mary’ Bodden, a formidable former pirate who has turned her back on a violent past to live a quiet life with her family. Her attempt at peace is disrupted when unresolved conflicts resurface, forcing her to confront the life she believed she had left behind.
The narrative traces Bodden’s struggle as her past catches up with her, testing her resolve and the bonds she has built away from the world of bloodshed. With its period setting and character-driven storyline, ‘The Bluff’ promises a mix of intense action and emotional depth.
The film marks another significant collaboration between Prime Video and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, as the platform continues to expand its slate of global originals. ‘The Bluff’ will stream exclusively on Prime Video from February 25.
