Elon Musk’s appearance on Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath’s popular podcast “WTF is” has set the internet buzzing once again, with Kamath dropping a second black-and-white clip that mixes humour, curiosity and classic Musk-style quirkiness.
The new video, shared on X, begins on a light note as Kamath teases Musk about looking “bigger and bulkier” than expected, prompting the Tesla and SpaceX chief to laugh before the conversation moves into more intriguing territory, IANS reported from Mumbai.
When Kamath asks Musk about his long-standing fascination with the letter ‘X’, Musk jokingly replies, “Sometimes I wonder what’s wrong with me,” sparking amused reactions from viewers. The teaser also dives into pop culture when Kamath asks which character from “The Matrix” Musk would want to be. Musk answers, “Hopefully not Agent Smith? He’s my hero,” keeping the exchange playful yet memorable.
Kamath captioned the teaser with, “Here’s to delaying gratification. The future belongs to the patient,” suggesting that the full conversation may explore themes of perseverance, long-term thinking and strategic patience, although he offered no further details beyond a simple “coming soon”.
The clip arrives just a day after Kamath released the first teaser—a 39-second silent video showing him and Musk sitting together in what appears to be an industrial setting. With both sipping coffee and exchanging knowing smiles, and a SpaceX logo visible on Kamath’s mug, online speculation quickly escalated about the topics and tone of the upcoming episode.
Kamath’s “WTF is” podcast has rapidly evolved into a platform attracting global leaders from technology, business and geopolitics. Previous guests include Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, prominent investor Vinod Khosla, and Perplexity AI CEO Aravind Srinivas. The Musk episode, expected to be one of Kamath’s most-watched conversations yet, has already generated significant interest ahead of its release.
