DC has announced a new lineup of animated projects, including ‘Joker: Laugh Riot’, ‘Absolute Batman’, and a ‘Krypto series,’ expanding its animated universe with fresh storytelling based on some of its most popular comic book characters.
According to an ANI report, the announcement introduces three distinct animated shows, each focusing on a different part of the DC universe and offering a unique narrative style.
‘Joker: Laugh Riot’ will revolve around the iconic DC villain Joker. The series is expected to explore his chaotic and unpredictable nature in a new animated format, giving audiences a fresh perspective on the character.
‘Absolute Batman’ will present a reimagined version of Batman’s world. The series aims to bring a new storytelling approach and visual style to the Dark Knight’s universe while staying connected to the core essence of the character.
The third project, a ‘Krypto’ series, will focus on Superman’s loyal dog Krypto. The show is expected to highlight his adventures and bring a lighter, more family-friendly tone compared to other DC projects.
With this new slate, DC continues to expand its animation portfolio and reintroduce well-known characters through new creative interpretations for global audiences.
