Cinepolis India has joined forces with Star Sports to bring the excitement of the ICC T20 Men’s World Cup to the big screen. From June 1 to 29, cricket fans can watch all Team India matches live at 40 Cinepolis locations across the country, including the semi-finals and finals, starting at 8 pm, the Economic Times has reported.
This unique partnership allows Cinepolis to transform its cinemas into mini-stadiums, offering a high-definition, surround-sound experience that promises to deliver the thrill and excitement of live cricket.
“Cricket is more than just a sport in India; it is a unifying force that brings people together,” the ET report quoted Devang Sampat, Managing Director of Cinepolis India, as saying, “We believe that big matches deserve the big screen, and this association ensures that fans can experience the thrill of cricket in a truly immersive and communal environment.”
According to Vikram Passi, Head of Marketing at Star Sports, this association highlighted Star Sports’ dedication to fostering a sense of community and joy around cricket, showcasing the power of sport in uniting people.
