Brigitte Slattery elevated as regional head of Samsung TV Plus for Asia Pacific

Samsung TV has officially promoted Brigitte Slattery to the position of Regional Head of Samsung TV Plus for Asia Pacific, a strategic leadership role aimed at accelerating the platform’s regional growth and innovation. The announcement was made via a LinkedIn post by Slattery, where she shared her enthusiasm about the new chapter.

“Excited to share that I’ve stepped into a new role as Regional Head of Samsung TV Plus for Asia Pacific. It’s an exciting time for the platform, and I’m looking forward to what’s ahead. Big congrats to Sam and Virgile on your new expanded roles—no doubt you’ll absolutely smash it!” she wrote.

Backed by over a decade of experience across the media and entertainment landscape, Slattery’s career has been marked by forward-thinking leadership and deep digital expertise. Most recently, she held the role of Head of Strategic Marketing at Samsung Ads, where she oversaw the development of marketing strategies and communication efforts globally.

Prior to joining Samsung, Slattery served at NBCUniversal Media in pivotal regional roles, including Director of Marketing and Digital APAC, and earlier, Director of Marketing & Digital ANZ. During her tenure, she led several successful B2C marketing initiatives and played a critical role in digital transformation strategies across diverse markets.

She also held senior marketing roles at Foxtel, including Group Head of Marketing & Digital Lifestyle and Head of Marketing Lifestyle. While at Foxtel, Slattery was instrumental in revamping the Lifestyle Group brand, launching original content strategies, and leading customer engagement efforts through data-driven campaigns. Her contributions earned her the 2017 Creative Professional of the Year title and recognition for pioneering emotional branding and AI-based marketing solutions.

Her journey also includes a significant early stint at Warner Bros. Entertainment as Senior Marketing Manager – Television, where she led campaigns for international TV content and franchises.

In her new role, Slattery is expected to spearhead the expansion of Samsung TV Plus across Asia Pacific by building region-specific strategies, strengthening local partnerships, and curating content that resonates with diverse audiences across the continent. Her appointment comes at a time when Samsung TV Plus is increasingly becoming a vital player in the free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) space in global markets.
