Sibling dynamics take center stage in ‘Friday Night Plan’, a heartwarming film directed by Vatsal Neelakantan. Produced by Excel Entertainment, this story of love and laughter explores the unbreakable bond between brothers.
In the movie, Babil Khan portrays the nerdy elder brother, while Amrith Jayan shines as the mischievous younger counterpart. Together, they embark on an unforgettable journey to conquer a party, adding a touch of mischief to the occasion. Juhi Chawla plays their mother, adding to the dynamics of the narrative, PTI reported.
This marks Babil Khan’s second collaboration with Netflix, following ‘Qala’. He expressed his excitement, mentioning, “The relatability of having a younger brother in real life adds to my enthusiasm for this film. The heartwarming journey and the nostalgic reminders of our own adventures make it special.”
Excel Entertainment, the producer, shared their excitement about this high school-themed film, while Netflix India’s Director of Original Films, Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh, highlighted the universal appeal of sibling bonds.
